From beginner, to expert, we have marked trails to suit all riders. Prepare to be captivated by stunning views every step of the way.
From the Woolshed at 441 metres above sea level to the farm's highest point at 918 metres, you'll be immersed in the natural beauty of Central Otago.
Create your own horse trek, with a personal guide, camping and catering options available.
Prices
Unguided BYO Horse trek – $45pp per day
Guided BYO Horse trek – $100pp per ride*
Guided BYO Horse trek with lunch provided – $140pp*
Overnight camping in own float, truck or tent – $20pp per night
includes composting toilet, horse grazing
All rides receive complimentary tea, coffee and hot chocolate at the Woolshed on your return. There’s a toilet at the Woolshed for use too.

Short Loops
PERFECT FOR BEGINNERS
We offer a range of shorter, well-marked loops, perfect for new, learning or young riders. Whether you're looking for a steeper challenge or a gentler gradient, you’ll find options to suit your preference and riding time.These shorter loops are ideal for green horses or those not yet accustomed to hill country, making them a great choice for a more relaxed adventure. They're also great for building up confidence.

Long Loops
PERFECT FOR EXPERIENCED
Choose from a variety of tracks that can take you on a 3-4 hour trek—or extend your journey as long as you wish.Prepare to be captivated by stunning views every step of the way. From the Woolshed at 441 metres above sea level to the farm’s highest point at 918 metres.
Feel free to pause along the way at one of our scenic spots, perfect for a picnic or a break. If you prefer a shorter ride, there are convenient options to return to the Woolshed earlier. The trek is yours to customise.

Can you hire horses?
Unfortunately we only offer BYO horse treks.
Can you hire equipment?
Unfortunately not, but you can bring your gear.
How long can I ride for?
Each booking allows you a full-day on our farm.
Can I book a group trek?
Yes, we welcome both group or solo bookings.
What is provided with lunch?
Our standard lunch includes filled rolls, fresh muffins, pastries and fruit.
Lunch is customisable to your preferences.
We can accomodate most dietary requirements.
Can children ride on the property?
Yes! But children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult and are the responsibility of the supervisor.
Is parking available?
Yes, there’s a safe space for floats and cars at the bottom of the property.
Are treks available all-year-round?
Horse treks are available from 1 November – 30 April every year. You can book a full day on the farm, starting from 8:30am – 6pm.
Who runs the guided tours?
Our very own Vicki, with over 50 years experience, hosts our guided tours.
Can we bring our dog?
Due to being a working sheep and beef farm, there are no dogs allowed. This is to minimise the risk of sheep measles.
Is power available for overnight stays?
Yes. Power is available for no additional cost.
Do I have to clean-up after my horse?
During treks, there’s no clean-up required. We ask that riders keep our Woolshed area clean. A flat $50 fee will be charged for any poo not cleared from this space.
